CHILDREN IN NEED – PLEASE WEAR SPOTS
MONDAY 19TH NOVEMBER 2018
£1.00 DONATION FROM EACH CHILD
This Friday, 16th November, is Child in Need and nationally, schools will be creating fundraising opportunities to help improve the lives of many disadvantaged children across the country. This is the 30th annual BBC Children in Need appeal and their mission is to positively change the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. In 2017, BBC Children in Need Appeal raised over £50 million and for every penny donated to the charity, a penny will go towards projects helping disadvantaged children in the UK.
Due to our school photographs taking place on Friday we will celebrate Children in Need on Monday 19th November, this will be a non-uniform day of which we are asking children to wear something spotty. This could be their socks, t-shirt, trousers, scarf etc. We are asking that no pupils use any face paint or hair dye and no football kits for this please.
Donations of £1 are welcomed. This would be a great contribution from our community to this worthwhile cause.
Thank you for your support.
