All of these services work on desktop computers, laptops and tablet computers.
Our approach to home work is referred to as Home Learning. Each week teachers will give out spellings or maths work as relevant to the work taking place in class. Some children get extra work to extend their learning or give them extra practice.
All children are expected to read for at least 10 minutes 5 times each week. This reading is rewarded in our celebration assembly each Friday.
In addition, each curriculum theme has a set of home learning activities designed to help them deepen their understanding of the topic work in class across the curriculum. Families can chose which tasks they complete, and in which order. A submission date is on the sheet. Children have free access to 'Lunchtime Learning' where they can go to complete their homework with a member of the teaching staff.
An exhibition of the home learning submitted takes place to ensure that children can share their achievements and see their work valued by all.
